E34 Alpina B10

Okay, here's a long shot; I was at the BMW Festorics at Laguns Seca last year, and I managed to be parked next to an E34 Alpina B10. It was, I admit one of the sexiest E34's I seen in a very long time. I'm hoping that the owner might be on here, and if you are, would you please step forward? I would love to ask you some more questions about your car. I have a pic in my photo album "Ronin". Anybody know this car?

I imagine that is my car now. It does not have stripes on it now, I think the previous owner removed them to do some touch-up paint work. Unless there is another black BiTurbo in California.

Actually, on closer inspection that may not be my car. I have the shadowline trim, that one has chrome.

Hey you found my ex-car

That is a 1990 535i with Alpina cosmetics... originally it had gold Alpina stripes, front spoiler, front and rear B10-3.5 badges, alpina 8.5x17 and 9.5x17 wheels, alpina springs and shocks (changed later on with lower and stiffer setup), alpina shifter, non-airbag Alpina steering wheel (3-spoke), Alpina floormats, BMW rear headrests (US model 535i did not come with rear headrests), Dinan chip, sebring exhaust, shortened final drive ratio (3.64:1 I think), limited-slip diff, Pioneer head unit, soundstream subs, ADS power, you name it..
The car is solid balck with grey leather and original wood trim from BMW

Bought the car for about $41k in sept 1990 but spent another $15k or so in mods...
sold it @65k miles in june 1995 after I finished school and went back home.

Why do i think that is my ex-car? coz it has the B10-4.0 front spoiler ... i wreck the original B10-3.5 front spoiler sometimes in 1993 and couldn't find the same front spoiler anymore... the B10-4.0 front spoiler has cooling intake for the front brakes..

Thanks for the pic !!

i was parked next to that car on Saturday of the historics. Was very clean, nicely done. A few things that made me suspect it wasn't a real alpina, but great looking car. The owners were walking away from it as i was parking, didn't get to talk to them.
