Source for BMW OEM headliner material?

Does anyone out there have a source for OEM or OEM style headliner fabric?

I recently had the headliner redone on my '91, and the shop used a locally available material that is nothing like the material that was in the car. I'm trying to keep it as original as possible, and this material isn't going to cut it. On top of that they charged $650.00 to do the headliner, and did a piss-poor job at that; but that's another story.

Basically, is there a source out there for material that is very similar to the OEM material in a 1991 5-series? I could just buy a new board from BMW, but I'd rather not do that if I don't have to.

Any suggestions?

Here's the new headliner in comparison to the original material:

ebay

search BMW OEM Headliner. You will find a guy (out of Florida I think) that sells it under the name oldstock or something like that. He sells the grey headliner by the roll...email him with you year model and he will fix you up with the exact material

Just quoting that before it's kicked out by the Commercial Police!

So Mr. NonCompromise, you might want to send an email to HeadlinerExpress.com. Just a member that mentioned it

Thanks guys!

I've been out of town for the last 5 days or so, but I'll get after these leads as soon as.

I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out, hopefully the upholstery shop will sort this out properly.
