Suggestion for link to the M5 E34 and M5 E28 on the portal?

Regarding this: Is it too much trouble to get an E34 link on the first M5board.com page??

I was thinking of a bar that says:

2005- | 1998-2003 | 1988-1995 | 1984-1987

with the appropriate links to each forum.

Maybe have this strip below M5BOARD.com logo?

Sounds just fine to me Gustav, as long as we at least get some sort of recognition! Thanks for fixing it!

Anything would be better, so yes - thanks Gustav!

Would it however be possible to get an E28 and E34 pictured in the longer term too? The essence of 'm5board.com' should surely be the ancestry of the model.....

The suggested bar with years sounds good.
Regarding the pictures, the current 'box' of car pictures is not that high. How about two boxes like that - one for M cars and one for Alpinas - one above the other?

better than nothing, but, still somewhat missing the point of the M5board.com homepage missing it's iconic image, the E34 M5.

So many people tell me that they don't like the shape from E39 onwards (not that they quote series id numbers, more shapes :-) ), and that for them the E34 shape and style is the M5.

makes you think....

Thanks Gustav, appreciate that you have recognised this issue!

Though an e34 pic, if possible, would be great!

However many feel the E39 M5 is the classic design: smooth and not Bangle sharp. It is all very personal but I agree that the M5 E34 is a classic. So is the M5 E28.

Drop the M3 one then

The E34 forum is also a very vivid and well-used forum, quoted in magazines a lot in both UK, US and Europe. Many people on here (Karl, Richard , Farrell , Simonal) have been in magazines with either their car or their knowledge. E34 section is a very very big thing in the E34 M5 community. Dont think that the M5board M3 section is anywhere near that.
