Try putting them on some scales...they don't help unsprung mass much!

Glad to see that you are going for a quality setup though!

Good luck with the project and keep us updated!

Hi just regarding the dust seals.

You can buy rebuild kits for the AP Calipers for about £25 per caliper. Hope that helps.

I have AP's on the front of mine and at the moment going to be converting the rear to the bigger discs. Picked up E46 M3 rear capliers and will get the E34 disc's just another option for people.

I'm not sure what your plans are for this car, but you may find that the 324/30mm Brembo/E31 840(C)i front calipers/rotors are a more affordable solution. They're a Forged, two piece caliper with Four pistons and offer a pretty wide brake pad selection.

Along with this, they're direct fit...No fooling with fabbing adapters/etc. Not a massive, extreme BBK...But, would certainly be an improvement over stock, and IMO, probably would still be a good match with the original brakes out back.

Alcon brakes work GREAT. I have the UUC kit on my car with 6 piston front and 4 piston rear calipers and I really like these brakes.

Here are some pics from a previous post:

I'll take some more pics on the car soon.
