wish my car was that clean and sorted underneath :-(

My trolley jack is small enough to go under the car to the chassis rails without using the OEM jack, then I get the axle stands out and put them on the chassis rails. I use some thin pieces of wood on top of the axle stand joints - these compress and stop the chassis rails gettting damaged.

For safety (ie, in case of slippage off the axle stands) I use spare wheel underneath the sill / body, and the OEM jack on the opposite side of the car in the normal jacking hole / mount. both of these are not bearing any weight, just there in case.

Inner Frame rails

Don't use a floor jack on the inner frame rails shown circled in red. I used a 6000lb Michelin floor jack with a rubber pad and actually dimpled those rails by jacking the front end of the car high enough to put jack stands under the stock jacking points.
