rear door actuator,,,,

has anyone been able to get there rear door open if the actuator has malfunctioned in the locked position?? the lock stem on the door , springs down and won,t open the door,,,is there a secret to getting it open?? the key doesn,t work , obviously,,,and I can,t see how you can take off the door panel as it is against the weather shield when the door is closed,,,,,could anyone who has run into the problem help out,,,,,bryon

These posts may help you deal with this problem. First you have to remove the rear seat bottom and then go from there:
