Thanks, Is there any way to get BMW's pictorial microfiche style diagrams on disc or other most of the time I'm looking for parts, I don't have one in hand as its missing and finding it in the picture and assigning a part number is the only way. Catalogs based on part number only are less helpful. I have Bentley's in pdf form but that's only as good as the book. Another anomaly I'm finding difficult to resolve is rear tool kit with empty slots. BMW will tell me not supplied with this model yet there a place in the tool kit for it. Such as the reflective triangles and no tow hook on my 540 just empty slots in the kit.

You may want to get yourself on Ebay . The various discs can be purchased , as can the towing eye and warning triangle .

I have the tool kit items in the UK , but the shipping charges make the situation uneconomical .
