Surely one our EDC delete - ist's should have one available. Have you tried ebay.de ?

Just had a quick look;
http://fahrzeugteile.shop.ebay.de/it...=p3286.c0.m282

Some complete looms for sale with sensors and a couple of single sensors available. Might be an idea to get a German speaker to ask some questions for you - could end up spending as much finding a decent used unit as you would for a new one........

This is what I need. It's $50 Euro's right now.
HERE

PN is the same and is identical to what I pulled from my MY95 Elekta M5T

Anyone want to pick this up and send it to me? $50 is the right price for me to buy a part I can't guarantee is even working.

It makes better sense for one of our German members to get the item for you in order to reduce postal charges .

Can you not just click buy it now and get it sent direct to the USA ?

I have asked the seller, but haven't heard back yet. Don't we have some US enlisted men stationed in Germany on this board? Mil mail is a lot cheaper than DHL.

I ordered EDC accelerometer #37141179832 to replace #37141181291, but its connector is different and can't plugged in new sensor!

There's gotta be some nurbergring suspension parts cars over there. The sensor is interchangeable on E32, E31, E34, and an M635csi special E24 Euro spec only cars. You could fit it in your shirt pocket, and the breaker would charge you $5 for it...

I don't know any US specs that have it at all. The E34M540 is a Canadian car. Not sure it was even on the US 1995 750il

[edit] Ok I found that Bavarian Recycling has a couple of used ones from 850ci's for $185 with a 6 month warranty. I still think that's too much...rats

doing laundry right now, and the maids came yesterday, so the house is real clean with no kids to mess it up immediately...my real job is paying the mortgage, so I don't feel too guilty. She and the kids are taking an airboat trip thru the everglades this morning. I leave for Marfa tomorrow morning. Gotta love road trips to West Texas...play a little Marty Robbins

I just ordered one from here: BMW Parts used and rebuilt bmw auto parts. It hasn't arrived yet but it was $50 dollars plus shipping. The sensor is also used on these cars:
E31: Details on E31
E31 840i Coupe
E31 850Ci Coupe

E32: Details on E32
E32 735i Sedan
E32 735iL Sedan
E32 740i Sedan
E32 740iL Sedan
E32 750iL Sedan

E34: Details on E34
E34 540i Sedan

Greg

Funny how they charge $185 for the same part when it's for an 840ci.

Is there an easy way to reset EDC error code?

Asked the dealer, the replacement sensor requires order an electric connector adapter to be able to plug into "new" sensor. The new wirings are:
terminal (-) --> (31), terminal (+) --> (15), (A) terminal no change, (A) --> (A).

The "new" sensor I got was manufactured in 1991, my old sensor was made in 1992. So it is just another "old" part that can also "worked" and has not been exhausted yet.

Unfortunately, I did not asked the shop to reset my error code, so I will need another trip to reset code! I unpluged the battery but that doesn't reset EDC error code.
