Wiper Blades

My windscreen wipers are due for replacement, either that or keep using the rain x like its going out of fashion. I understand there can be problems if you use the wrong blades with shudder or skipping the result (previous pots). Therefore anyone know the best brand to buy and size to aviod the aformentioned or is it best just to procure from BMW themselves??

Regards

Get some Bosch Micro Blades. 24" for the driver side and 22" for the passenger side. Combine with Rain-X, and you have a powerful combination.

The sizes might be off, but that is right off the top of my head.

hi there

You have 2 options when it comes to replacing your wiper blades

1 ) replace only the rubber blade inserts which are available from your BMW dealer

2 ) replace the complete wiper blade which are either available through your bmw dealer or your any bosch outlet, this later option is always going to be a lot dearer.

hope this helps

I always get mine from the dealer. They are cheap and reliable, no squeels, judders, or smudges, and they are silent when used!! You can either buy the whole wiper unit or the refills.

I bought some last year and they worked out at:

17 quid for the big one with the wind deflecter on
8 quid for the other side

regards

Mike
