M5touring colour codes

Hi Paul,
yes, I already know of the WillZ-car -BL01908-
it is another Italien version car - thanks anyway !!
-
british-racing-green = colour code = 05-209-6852 B&K
at the time when these cars were made it was an individual colour, now it is a regular BMW-colour, check (312) -
-
how about 'tobagoblau,met. ' = colour code 256
that is the colour of the -BL01862- M5touring

Hi Karl,

Thanks for the paint information...it will be on the FAQ soon. Ok, I have not heard of "Tobagoblau met." on an M5. Sounds like an Audi color that an M5T buyer ordered????

M5touring

Gustav, Paul, sorry for the hesitation I've been away for two weeks.
Gustav, yes indeed that is the 796 M5touring in Cosmosschwarz.met. - THKS !
Paul, with code 256 Tobagoblau, met. now is an official BMW-colour, it was NOT normally available for the E34 M5, it might
very well have been an AUDI-colour before used by BMW -
the trend is anyway = 'Mehr Gaudi mit Audi' ???
(PS: Gaudi is bavarian slang for FUN)

Hi all!

Just checked in here, so newbie on the front

I've acquired a E34 M5 Touring #BL01152 so one of the early one's in the series as I can make out here in the thread.

As I've read you seem to be quite informed about production dates and delivery specs on the various models produced.

Just out of curiosity (I know that killed the cat)
what where /are the specs for my lil' gem !

Looking forward to your replies !

M5touring BL01152

welcome to the crowd and the M5touring-register -
your car is already in the registry thru a previous owner who also
received a BTX-print (production-sheet) copy, was this not handed over to you ? anyway, congratulations to a great car
and a lot of 'driving pleasure' -
-
prod. date: 01.06.1992, first reg.date: 16.07.1992
181 M - Diamantschwarz, met.
0318 - Schwarz, Volleder
-
SA (factory equipped options):
404A - Doppel-Schiebe-Hebedach, elektr.
530A - Klimaanlage
662* - BMW BAVARIA C PROFESSIONAL RDA
676a - HIFI Lautsprechersystem
-
this specific car has compared with the average production-car a very limited number of options but with a list-price of DEM 127.600
+ options it delivers the same 'driving pleasure' as the others
(if u wish a specification of the average options equipped let me know) many cars are far beyond that and -one of a kind- ended at a consumer price of DEM 180.000 and beyond - (when they were new, of course

HAVE FUN !

hi there Karl !

Thanks for your very prompt reply !

Alas I didn't recieve the mentioned BTX print, I didn't buy the car from the previous owner, I bought it at a car dealer over here,

FYI the car has:
- two color leather
- front seats with built-in heating and fully electrical with memory

the mentioned BAVARIA system wasn't in the car anymore

but for the rest it seems to be in pretty original state, one thing I was curious about is its country of origin, that means where was the car registered the first time, because it was imported in the Netherlands in Dec. '97.

When I get the chance I'll make some photographs and send them over so you'll have a visiual impression

Karl, please tell me about the 180 000 DM M5 Tourign please!

I rememeber when I was 16 I added up all options (incl. TV and video) to a 750i and it ended up at 990.000 SEK (with BBS wheels )

I think the list price of Michaels 1996 B8 Touring was around 180 000 DM too and its faster than the E34

http://www.bmwm5.com/photo/showgalle...stype=&ppuser=

B8 Guru has all the production sheets of the B8 made too, those were also some "interesting" examples made. His leather interiour on the Convertible is "quite" alot
