Chris,
will do, by e-mail, but have patience I am busy again with other issues and
my PC is extremely slow at the moment making scanning to a nightmare...
I guess you know already that your 'sterling silver baby' is one of the so
called "E..." cars ?

No problem. Sorry don't mean to hassle you. Just wasn't sure whether you'd received my earlier email & PM, so thought I'd also post on the forum. Good luck with your technical issues.
BTW what do you mean by an E car please?

For Sale

Hello,
My M5 Touring is for sale and I was wondering if anyone can give me an accurate valuation.

3.8Litre
BL01619number.
It is sterlingsilber-met
It has 2 sunroofs
It has 2 air bags
It has AirCon
It has M3 mirrors
It has cloth / alcantara seats (not so slippy as leather and warmer in winter)
Everything is original, except 1 clutch and normal replacements (tyres, discs, pads, battery, suspension bushes, belts, )
Original paint, original wheels (spare unused).
150.000km
2 owners, 1 German surgeon and me (a company director). I bought the car in 1998 with 44.000km
Car is in excellent condition for its age and has not been raced or driven hard.
I am selling, as we have bought a Chrysler Voyager and I only now need a smaller car (probably a 911 or an M3, no comments please)

Over to you...
Frank

ok I'm not allowed to comment on the m3 nor porsche small car replacement...but a chrysler voyager??

You do happen to know that this car has received the the "least reliable car award" for several years running?...

Ok I'll shut up now...

THE WIFE WANTED A PEOPLE CARRIER, AND SHE LIKED THE CHRYSLER BEST. SHE ALSO THINKS LEXUS DRIVE WELL! ENOUGH SAID.
WARRANTY WILL COVER THE INITIAL PROBLEMS AND THEREAFTER (IF WE KEEP IT THAT LONG) I HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH RESOURCES AT MY DISPOSAL TO REPAIR IT AND KEEP IT IN A1 CONDITION.
CAN WE CLOSE THIS SUBJECT, PLEASE AND STICK TO THE M5 TOURING?
THANKS

Frank@
I will announce that your car is 'for sale' also in the 34m5-mail-forum.
Have you decided for an 'asking price' yet ??
It could be anything between GBP 6000 > 12.000+ for a 5-speed M5touring.
-
I hope some of our UK-members will come with an input on UK-price-level.
It is certainly a rare car but also LHD in a RHD-country.
