Hoping to refurb my t-stars in the near future and bought all new bolts for the job. The heads look unusual - what is the correct wrench/driver and size? Looks like a 'hex' or 'torx' but I'm not sure....

I was posting about the thermostat cover, I have the S38b36, and it has just plain old 10mm hex bolts.
Make sure you get the right tools, because the T Star cover bolts seemed to be a little sticky coming out and I had to drill out most of them and replace the with new stainless steel bolts.
When I replaced them I put some anti seize compound on them to help prevent frozen bolts (ferrous bolts into alloy parts) if I ever have to do it again.

My apologies for the blonde-moment! Completely missed the fact your post says 't-stat' and not 't-star'.......doh! Your advice all noted though and I'll ensure to do this as I suspect getting the old bolts out will be a pain.
