Which part number ?

Hi everybody,

I like how the rear plate place looks in the M5 ( yes, that black plastic ). I have to buy new European plates now and I was thinking on buying that M5 part too. What do you think ? Should a non ///M car have that part ? Is this a sacrilege ? My father and brothers say it is... I don't want it to look like an M5 ( because it is not an M5 ! ), I just like that part. Also does anyone know that part number ??

Please feel free to comment.

That part is M5 specific, and generally speaking, the only people who would put it on are those trying to make a M5 replica.

Yes, it does look good, but you may get catacalls from people who know where the part is supposed to be.

I don`t know the part number, but any BMW dealer will be able to look it up for you.

I`d say that if you have non-M5 wheels (eg AC wheels) and the AC bodykit you mention, then put the plate on as it looks good, especially on black or red cars that also are shadowline.

AC badges on the back look good though, be proud !!

Ivan.
