How to change rubber 'stripe' around door opening?

Hi,
The "rubber cushion" (sorry, don't know the correct name, see picture) which goes around the door opening has been torn apart at my driver's door. I think it might be the cause of quite some wind noise on the driver's side above 180-ish km/h..
How do I replace it? Just pull off and put the new one back on? Or is it glued in place? Basically: is it an amateur job?

Best regards,
Patrik

Hi, with rubber seals like this you need to use heat to loosen the adhesive holding it on. I've used a heat gun before and gently pulled on the seal to remove it.

MIKE.

I replaced all 4 on my car - there's no glue - they just push on (or need a little persuasion with a rubber hammer).

Thanks, day. Do I have to remove the plastic bar at the bottom of the door opening; ie does it cover part of the rubber seal?

I just did this on my car, yes you have to remove the sill plates and then just pull the seal off, to place the new one just keep an eye on where the seams end up, you might need some sort of plastic tool to help tuck some of the trim into the new seal as you press it on. I found it worked best to start at the upper middle of the door frame and made sure the seam ended up in the middle of the lower frame (covered by the sill plate).
