I can't get a definitive answer from my searches.

My car is a US model 91 M5 , build date 11/91 w/ airbag.

Which E36 M3 wheel works ? The earliest 95 M3 w/ airbag and vinyl clad Roundel in the center of the wheel...or the later one w/ the blue Roundel in the center of the airbag ?

Its almost time to get her out of storage and ready for the season and my wheel is nasty old.

If you're talking about the later 3-spoke M3 wheel ('98+), I believe that'll fit your car as well as the early 4-spoke wheel.

Unfortunately, we can't just throw an M-Tech 2 wheel on ours!

Thanks, I think I'll try an earlier 4 spoke M3 wheel as its a little bit more period correct.

If that doesn't work, I found a Momo hub adaptor that works for sure, and I'll just throw a nice suede Momo wheel sans airbag and call it a day.
