Hella "smoked" headlights

Anyone have a set of the smoked hella headlights on their car? I'm curious how they would look with the normal amber corners on calypso red. I was really debating something like the pic below, but I don't care for the all black tails. It kind of looks like the corner lense is darker than normal. One of my headlights is getting moisture inside, and I figured an upgrade to ellipsoids or smileys would be a classier replacement than the crap that came on mine. Any thoughts?

Dave

I believe that's what I have on my car. I am a big fan of clear lights all around (pretty much regarless of the color) so I'm definitely biased.

But here are some pics to give you an idea of what they look like.

I have smoked from lights with the smoked amber corners, they do appear on ebay now and then. I got a full new set and fogs waiting to go on. I think on your colour car they will still look very nice.

Yes mine are smoked all around. I think clears would look just fine as well.
You will find more Calypso pictures with clears here.

Photos can be edited using paint.net to smoke the lights.

Brave man to be running an E34 in Belarus. Do you buy your spare parts in Kiev?
