bavaria c prof. rds with cd-changer

So I got 3.8 m5 -92 and it's got options

662 BMW BAVARIA C PROFESSIONAL RDS

676 HIFI LAUTSPRECHERSYSTEM

from the factory.

I already bought bmw business cd rds from ebay but unfortunately it doesn't work because bavaria c professional rds has somekind of receiver in the right side of trunk (RealOEM.COM * BMW E34 M5 3.8 RADIO BAVARIA C PROFESSIONAL) and hence different cable wiring than the business cd would demand. Happened to notice it a little too late, though.
So I assume that the only way to get cd-option with oem parts to my car is to purchase a cd changer, right?

Since the 6-cd changer seems to be more common, I think I'll give it a try.
So I need to get the right parts (connection cable cd-changer [65128359266], interface cd-changer [65128355803] [RealOEM.COM * BMW E34 M5 3.8 SINGLE COMPONENTS CD-6 CHANGER] and of course the changer itself, apparently made by pioneer?.) and then plug the interface part to the cd-changer and the changer to the receiver device using the connection cable. So it's that simple? Sorry for the long writing but this time I want to be sure that I get the right parts.

Hey mate. Kinda started off with a similar problem to yours. I have the same kind of head unit and speaker system on my E34 M5. I wanted to replace the head unit (doesn't play cds anymore) with a bluetooth unit but unfortunately after a lot of research i discovered that due to the unique way the system is wired, to change the head unit I have to rewire the whole car! Which i don't think anyone wants to do. Let me know how you do?...

Its funny this. My car came supplied with a Sony head unit plus six CD changer from the dealer, and was supplied with NO BMW in car entertainment whatsoever by the factory.

Hey there. I think it's a market thing. In Cyprus the "normal" E34s came with the loudspeaker/antenna in back window prepaation and you just added your choice of head unit as a sort of dealer option. My parents bought a 520i in 1989 (which I now have sitting in the garage next to the M5) which came like that. It probably means that whoever bought the M5 in the first place specified the hifi prof rds thing as an option. And although it sounds quite good, mine doesn't play cds and because it's the older of the two c professionals it doesn't support a changer! So i'm kind of stuck but I guess 6 cylinder heavenly sound beats cds any day!!!

Hmmm...stedes, which player do you actually have? because bavaria c professional rds has only a cassette funktion, and as long as I've understand, it supports the 10- and 6-cd changers

It's the older of the two models. It's a single slot cd tuner with all amplification happening in the boot and uses the cd cartridge system that blaupunkt units used to have. No cd changer option from what I can understand from realoem.com
