Jon Baker Jnr and myself have recently taken the decision to retire our M5s from track use, and to collectively purchase an E34 M5 with the intended sole use as a dedicated track day car.
What you're looking at above is the outcome of our decision - a 1991 E34 M5 3.6 in Calypso Red.
After a short deliberation, we purchased and collected today, from another highly-respected board member.
Over the coming weeks and months, we'll keep this thread updated with the modifications we make to the car, in our ongoing efforts to strip out uneccesary parts to save weight, improve performance, & most-importantly, handling.
Watch this space............!

Car will remain road legal as it must be able to arrive at intended track venues (both here and in Europe), on public roads under it's own steam.
To some extent it is a potentially-frustrating compromise - as I have already identified bits I'd rather take-off that you can't, if you want to pass a UK M.O.T. test...........
Both Jon and I have the view that we'll make it as track-focused as we can, whilst remaining road legal.
