i removed all the sunroof then didnt no what to put back in its place so i bonded the original back in just till i come up with something better and lighter. im really excited about the alternator and battery myself just by moving the battery to the front passenger foot well and changing the cables and conections to the fusebox ecu and starter saved me 2.775kg the original cable and fitments weighed in at 3.35kg so what i relaced it with was 575g so with light weight starter and battery i hoping to nock off 14kg + in total obviously until i find out what battery is going to replace my existing one i cant fix anything down yet

Hi Terry/John,
Oil leak from rear of rocker gasket is more likely to be the metal plate right at the back of the head (slightly lower than the r/gasket).Best to bend an offset ring spanner.
3.6 exhaust from cat back weighs 30kgs.My new s/s and eisenmann weigh 19kgs.I know all this cos i've just weighed them!
Good luck
Colin.

Which Corbeau brackets did you do with and how did you fit them? I am trying to come up with a solution to mount a set of corbeau seats. I have the original brackets from the car and am getting ready to order my seats and brackets.

We ended up using the alloy brackets that we bought with the seats. Fitting them was not so easy, requiring us to grind off the standard front lugs, inverting the brackets and drilling new front mounting points.

Reading it back it sounds easier than it was, it took hours.

Both seats are now in the car, just need to pray for some decent weather to give us the time to fit the H&R suspension. After that she will be used on her first trackday to establish what else needs to be done.

Seats have been in for a few months now, as has the H&R spring kit.

The car had it first couple of outings recently (see recent threads about Bedford Autodrome and Snetterton) and did not shame itself. The handling remains very neutral, if a little soft, and the engine is going strong.

After frying the discs and pads, and identifying a suspected faulty LSD, the car will be going back to our trusty mechanic for some further upgrades / repairs.

It also looks like we might have even found ourselves some wider rear wheels as well...

Just a quick pic of the boys DS3000 Race Pads and what was left of Candice's discs after they'd finished ragging her around Bedford Autodrome recently !
