Keyless Remote and alarm for MY95

I can not find the harness under the seat to install my late model keyless, and I don't have the fancy mirror with the switch on the bottom.

Any clue as to where my alarm harness is located? BL01908 is my VIN, Karl, if you happen to have my build sheet.

also, anyone have this in English? My I talian aint so good

Installed sirius and the CD43 with DICE adapter last night.
loving the amber

Did you ever found where your alarm was? Your car didn't come with keyless entry?

I don't think I have anything...not sure about the start immobiliser either, but I think that was all this one came with.

There is no 14 pin, green connector in the opposite bay from the battery under the seat like all the US phone, cd, keyless models had.

Who has a 95MY S38B38 6 speed that came with an OEM alarm system? What is the system, and where is the 14 pin connector for it? Under the steering column or under the DS rear seat?

I am considering a keyless that has a one window open and close option.

Greg@
did I ever sent the built sheet to you ?
do you still need the fuse-listing in english ?
as you might know I have a MY 1995 M5touring with a VIN not far from what
your car has.....
I seem to remember that Alex P. (who owns the 2nd Elekta in the US) worked on the same upgrades that you have in mind....
-
Is all this still going on or is this meanwhile history ?
You may sent me a PM or an e-mail if you wish.
-
brgds
Karl

I did not get a build sheet for BL01908. Does that show an alarm system on it? Yes, please send me one to ggil at texas dot net

I would like to see a fuse sheet in English.

I would like to contact Alex P about his keyless/alarm choices for his car.

I am readying another investment in my Elekta. Front acceleration sensor is first ( I still haven't confirmed which one to buy...the same as the ones in the rear or just remove the front one and get one with same PN#) Then refurb the roof rails, replace the third brake light black piece and glass hatch shocks, remove all tint and re-tint the whole car, buy 9J M// to complete staggered set up, and then the big re-spray challenge. I have a chain tensioner r&r, shims, and all that's near and dear to those areas may need attention.

I have two rust bubbles to contend with and hail dings in the sunroof panels. It's a scary project given the car has to be painted about 6 times. two coats sonderlacking, 2 coats silber metallic, two coats clear...the estimates are astounding, but they are from Concours type painters.

thanks in advance for any keyless advice,

best,

geoff

BMW E34 Website : Keyless entry I followed this and it worked like a charm all the wires are on the left side under the rear seat. Took about an hour to install.

Thanks Elekta, it feels so great to hear about maintenance done right. So many used cars -and not just
M5's- just don't get the attention they deserve given the amount of service (and abuse) we get out of them!

I would love to have the English version of my fuses, I couldn't see any keyless entry / alarm module under my rear seat.
I haven't really looked into it yet but thought I'd revive this thread to see where you were at.

Thanks! I've recovered financially from phase one of suspension reno (new shaft, rear subframe bushes, accumulators)

and now need one acceleration sensor to fire up the s/p mode and get the warning gongs gone for good, but the list is heavy. I will not proceed to paint until she drives almost as new. I still have not crested 6k rpm and wont' until the tensioner is replaced and the top end shim'd and inspected. There will be no alpine amy event for me.

best, geoff
