A visit to the mother country...

Hi to all UK members,
I am coming to your fair land to participate in a business course in early August and was wondering if there is any "E34 M5 catch ups" planned for the weekend of 9th and 10th of August?

My course is in Watford and finishes on Friday 8/8, my return flight however leaves on Monday 11/8, leaving me 3 days to do the tourist thing (at this stage probably around London).

So, I'm not asking or expecting anyone to make a special effort to catch up as I am sure I will be able to occupy myself fully for the 3 days. But before I make any other arrangements for the weekend I just thought if you were looking for an excuse to arrange a board get together/pub lunch this might be it.

Gaydon is the location of.....the Heritage Motor Museum and is located pretty well in the centre of the UK, not a million miles away from Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and Banbury (HQ of Prdrive and Aston Martin).

Here is a link.

http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/

The BMW event is vast with so many cars to see, drives around the test track, talks about tuning, lubrication, brakes and chassis improvements. All of the major magazines turn up, track cars are on display, a huge autojumble and more interesting and unusual BMW's than you can imagine. Hopefully tis year we will have an E34 M5 area as arranged by Richard Baxter so that all of our cars can be parked together.
