Removing front power headrests

Hi All,

Is it easy/possible to remove the power assisted headrests from the front seats on my 92' e34 M5?
If so, What is the procedure?

Thanks,

Terry in Toronto

If you are just trying to pull out the leather/cushion headrests from the seat, simply pull straight up with a quick jerk and the ball joint ends will pop out of their drive sockets. Installation is simple reverse procedure - slide in until you touch the drive sockets and then quick jerk downwards to pop them back in.

If you are implying more than that, let me know.

So I just raise them to full elevation with the motor then pull them off with a quick upwards jerk? That sounds easy.

Thanks!
