E34 M5 3.8 LE @ Bruntingthorpe

having spent most of today doing a piece for the August edition of BMW Car magazine here are some static shots of my best at the end of the 2 mile runway. We had a great deal of fun doing the Vmax tests.

i have just bought a rosso red LE. the lower body panel have been painted in the body colour. Are they not supposed be painted in the dark grey colour, as per the original spec?

Gustav, in two weeks time BMW Car magazine will publish an 8 page spread about the E34 M5 and the Alpina B10 Bi Turbo. I will make sure that you get a copy.

We've just had the August issue in and the feature looks great although before anyone says anything, it's only 7 pages long and there seems to have been some sort of balls up with the torque figure in the spec panel for the Alpina...
Apologies in advance, not my fault, please don't send me any hate mail - otherwise hope you like it.

Don't worry about the typo's mate - I used to work in the industry and I don't think I've ever seen a magazine go out without at least a dozen typos, missing photos, missing page numbers, etc.

The best thing we ever did was 'micro-porn' in which we replaced things like full stops with a tiny silhouette of someone performing fellatio on themselves or other erotica. We only stopped when some eagle-eyed stamp collector/train spotter/nerd spotted one and sent in a letter asking what the prize was for spotting it

You should claim to have put one in somewhere and see how many crackpots write in claiming to have found it
