Richard , try putting your right foot down and you just might do it !

Great idea Alan ......perhaps a decent service station in the region of 10-15 miles away so that we can all drive enthusiastically to the venue ( whilst strictly obeying all rules of the road ) together .

It would be fantastic to witness a group of E34 M5s rolling into Gaydon together .......we could get CBs and you could play the part of Rubber Duck !

Oh mate, if the E39 M5 owner hadn't blown his engine at 123mph I would have gone way faster, but he lifted and I was quickly into debris / oil etc.

Re Convoy I would rather be Rubber Duck than Pig Pen, Spider Mike, or the Jesus Freaks on Grass!

Hi there all, how you all doing

My brother and I are going down to Gaydon this year (it was a great show last year), but i'm not going to be taking the M as i thought you had to be a BMW GB Car club member to enter, i could be mistaken though.

It'd be great to talk cars all the same though and meet up, can somebody tell us the correct date of the show, James and I are going to Bimmerflex in surrey later on this month, if anyone else is going to make the trip.

All the best

Andy

That sounds like a cracking idea!

Re: the track, do you have to book in advance or are places allocated on the day, first come first serve?

The track is the former Aston Martin test track ....it's £10 a session but is a bit regimented i.e. a pace car that everyone must stay behind .

The sessions must be booked in advance if you want to be sure of getting on .
