New exhaust ordered today

Finally got round to deciding what to do.Ordered it today.
New s/s supersprint centre section (not much choice really!). Eisenmann sport rear with 76mm tips.
Sport because i've already lost the cat so it sounds a bit nicer already ,and i could'nt stand it if it droned on the motorway.
76 mm tips cos i'd really like the 83's but dont want the bomper melted, but want larger than the std 70's on these cars.
I'm not really expecting any power gains ,but the weight loss might help me get that 12 sec quarter!
Poss 6 week delivery.Does anyone know if the s/sprint and Eisenmann just slot together?

Colin.

Nice one Colin,

Let us know how you get on!

I think the Eisenmann and Supersprint should just bolt together because they are both designed to be used as direct replacements for OEM.

Sure someone else will correct me if I'm wrong.

Would be interested to see some pics/hear some sounds when you've done - I'm thinking of taking this route myself eventually, having already purchased a de-cat.

R

Rob,
Mines de-cat already and it did'nt cost a bean.
Took the cat off, cut it open with an angle grinder, threw the bits away then welded it back up!
Even re-fitted the original heat shield with some metal binding straps so it still looks the same.
Jobs a good-un!
Colin.

Thought you might say that Rob!
Might try and get some before and after pics ,on a 4 post lift,so looking at the underside.(when it turns up).
Took me ages to decide on this system,so in my mind already it sounds just right! If it does'nt i'll be dissapointed.
As for sound clips,i'm a technophobe, so cant see me being able to do that.
Maybe my 13 yr old son might be able to
Colin.
