Sorry to say but I can not help it. Knowing the story of this car pretty well I dare saying that this statement is simply not true......
I will give in if proof can be provided but I doubt there is any....

I am simply putting forth the information given to me by the owner, if you have issues use PM. But please do not sabotage this tread. I am a lawyer by trade and will of course be as up front as possible.

This is a good car and will make someone very happy.

As for the price: highest bid gets it.

Very well, I understand and have no doubts about your good intentions.
Still, being a lawyer you should know about 'hearsay','facts' and going public.
Discussing cars that are out -for sale- on this forum is not only normal but also one of the purposes of this forum. Am I wrong ? Also are we normally
tough but fair on this forum.....
-
Feel free to send me a PM, an e-mail or call me anytime for the story of this
car as I know it which is partly based on the publically available facts and for the rest based on the present owners own statements.
-
This seems to be a nice car, in good shape, low mileage and one of the 20 BMW Motorsport anniversary cars. I have NOT seen this car 'live' yet, have you ?

Well lets have the story then!

It's only fare that all information is brought to the public.

In today's world, information is easily available, and will be debated online.
So if a seller don't like that, he shouldn't put out information to the public (Sell privately).

Lantz

hi!
Where is the sabotage???
I am familiar with the cars history based on the info given by the present owner at the time he was contemplating on buying it off his fathers hands.
Before this it was owned by his sisters husband or something like that.
The claim that this car would have been owned by some boss in the M division sounds familiar but I have never seen any hard evidence for this.
If Karl has info that proves something else, then he should have every right to come out with it as the car is publicly advertised.....

As I understand it, the comment was not pointed at you either, but the claim on the add.....
The car is undoubtedly very nice and in good condition....
Take it easy.
Sakke

Greetings,

Maybe I over reacted ( one too many Newcastle Browns ). Its just that this car has been the object of a lot of mindless discussion on the Swedish board and I just did not want this thread to turn into a similar mess. Questions are of course welcome and encouraged! I would not have placed an ad here if I did not want people to ask questions and discuss.

I have removed the offending part of the ad, I was simply putting forth the information given to me by the owner. It is not my intention to mislead anyone, this is a very nice car and very collectable. I will see if I can get a hold of some more info on the first owner.

Here are some more pics. These do not really do the car justice. Better ones will be taken next week.

Regards and Happy Midsommar

Lantz

Good Day to all!

I have spoken to the owner and organised a date for me to see the car live. I will be driving up from France next week and will stop by his place on my way home. Proper pictures will be taken, as well as a decent check of the car and service history.

Hopefully this will make the whole thing a little more transparent!

Ill keep you updated
