Anyone know how to remove the rear door quarter glass????
I've removed all the trim & door rubbers etc So now there's just the glass & it's rubber seal but it really doesn't seem to want to come out without using force & I'm worried it will break.
It does require a LOT of effort to get the rubber trim out - if you've bought a new glass then you'll have noticed the trim is already stuck on and has a few metal clips.
The clips are a right PITA to remove, and I remember my window-fitter taking 45 minutes to remove it (using pliers/grips mainly), yet only 15 minutes to fit the new one.
I should have thought on and taken some pictures!

There is a metal strip that goes between the main window and the quarter glass .....it runs up from inside the door to the top of the door and is secured through a small opening at the top and a 10mm bolt inside .....you need to remove that first , then the quarter glass should slide out towards the main window area of the door !
