I bought an E24 M6 system off them. The workmanship looks spot on and although I have fitted only the rear muffler at this stage the car sounds great!! It was fitted as part of a group of enhancements so I can't say if it made any difference performance wise.
NB: they were very difficult to deal with, overcharged me (which they later rectified) stuffed me around on freight and then only paid freight to the dock (after agreeing door to door) so it cost me a day and $250 to get the thing out of customs...:grrrr:
pics looks great, but its a fair wedge of money and since i'm in the UK i'm thinking shipping will be vastly expensive on such a heavy/large cumbersome item...
This configuration of this system is very much like the old Scorpion exhaust
that appeared on a few E34 //M5 some years back.
I know one fella who had one on his 3.6
It was loud.
It gave slightly more top end power at the expense of bottom end torque.:nono:
It had a tendancy to be affected by ambient temps.
It was light & single skinned 302R stainless.
The the thing used to resonate & drone.
It really needed a mass damper strategically welded to it to neutralise
the amount of felt noise transferred into the under floor under varying
conditions.
The worst thing about it was that due to the vastly reduced overall surface
area of the mufflers & single skinned pipes, it was always a thermal
nightmare.
All the heat would try to sink out at the rear muffler & tail pipes.
Anyone for a melted rear bumper
I reused my old ones. But I coated them with hi temp exhaust sealer. <O Yes the gaskets are different, one slides on the outlet pipe off the cat, and the other is just a flange. Thus the two gasket differences<O.
