3.8 Fjordgrau 08-04-93

Hi Raymond,not from Hengelo(O)?

Well my car looks beautiful and did 145.000 km.It had(I think) no major damage, but there has been done some re-painting here and there.
options are numerous:
0216/0243/0302/0339/0401/0416/0417/0423/0459/0494
/0500/0534/0669/0672/0676/0710/0781/0782/0784/0900/0940.
Furthermore there is something strange about it:it has no cruise control but the motor and cable for the cc are present.
I'll make some pictures but I'm not sure whether I am able to put them on this site.
Never done that.
Let you know soon.
Ronald.

Are you sure that it is not the speed limiting motor and cable that you are seeing ?

@Davidoli: just been looking at some 3.6 and 3.8 engine bay pics... it seems as if a 3.6 with CC has 2 cables and a 3.8 has 3 ? Is that right?

I remember Ronald's 3.8 having 2 cables and therefore informed him the CC cable was there.

Hi Ray , the 3.8 is limited by a cable and not electronically .

If Ronald's 3.8 has only 2 cables , it is likely that one is the main throttle cable and the other the limiter cable that backs the throttle off when the speed limiter level is reached .

3.8s can therefore be de-limited simply by disconnecting this cable .

There are a few pics to be found on the forum by running a search .
