Some front suspension parts help please

Hi guys, looking to sort out the outstanding jobs on my car - have a cryptic list from the last inspection II but I'll be getting it done somewhere else and I can't find these parts easily on RealOEM.

They are:
O/S Track rod ends and boots burst (what does RealOEM describe as? should I do both sides)
Play in steering idler bush (is this a replace?)
Play in off-side anti-roll bar drop links (should I replace both?)
Anti-roll bar bushes splitting (I'll replace both)
Reaction arm bushes splitting (no idea what part this is)
G/box tail shaft oil seal sweating (????)
Diff /n/s/seal sweating (????)
Exhaust back box mounting "missing from bodywork" (lol!)

Thanks in advance as ever.

One last thing - should all of this be BMW (Phlem can get me a parts discount) or are some "good enough" from GSF? I normally tend towards BMW ....

Hi
Replace in pairs generally.
I would suggest o/e parts.
Tend to buy these from BMW
Had so called o/e sent to me in past by Euro & GSF.
Not worth the b@all ache of another lost day getting the
correct parts.
You have come back also. if parts fail prematurely.

Reaction, or thrust arms split regularly on inner bush.

Idler arm is steering.
It adds an extra vagueness to already vague steering.
Is it bush ovalised & braking up or is it loose & needs tightening ?

Anti-roll bar drop links attach to back of damper & down to roll bar ends.
Commonly termed vertical drop link.
Do both.

Diff seals on input & output...join the evergrowing club.
Strip & rebuild is solution....if not noisy or pouring out, it can wait.
Judgement call !

One hanger missing completely on rear box.....sounds familiar, eh Andy

Fully agree here.

Droplinks fail easily. 90% of the BMW's I touch need these replaced since its not an MOT failure nobody appears to spot this. Sound is annoying even on small bumps though!

Stephen,

What a coincidence since I am also changing my suspension components. I recently checked with BMA Parts about the thrust arms being generic for all e34s and they said yes. I might go for the lemforder route with 750i bushings. I wonder if it will be worth the USD30 additional for each arm. Maybe some guys could chime in on whether the generic e34 suspension components are good enough.
