I just received a 91 M5. It has an AC Schnitzer rear wing. Now I am looking at the front lower spoiler/valence/dam whatever you want to call it and it appears to have an egg crate type design in the center. Other pics of 91's I have seen do not seem to have this? Any ideas? Is this stock?

It appears stock, but it has two blocked off intakes in the lower valance instead of just the R/H one
Not sure that the US models had an open intake at all in the valance. It's been a while since I've looked at my buddies '93, but I'm recalling fairly positively that both his lower valance intakes are blocked off.

my 91 US spec car has an open drivers side duct in the lower spoiler going to the alternator. Would be the right side looking at the car, like the pic above.
