Help needed with bearing shell and valve sizes for rebuild
i got my car in a workshop ready for a bit of a rebuild. valves need doing and also going to change the main and big end bearing shells and the chain tensioner for the M3 one. ive contacted companies for the parts but they want to know what size bearing shells i need and if i need oversized valves. mechanic is on holidays right now so cant contact him. can anyone on here help or does the mechanic need to see them and tell me?? thank you

Mechanic needs to see and measure. Or possibly see, order parts, measure them, machine, and re-measure.
