The 4 eccentric ones in the trailing arms that is.... Otherwise I'll have to make somthing as no dealer I know still has it.
Finaly picked up the M5 rear axle that was lying in DickRS's warehouse for me for a long long time. It kinda resembles the one in gwm635's pics, but that doesn't matter, as it'll come apart anyway. It still has the driveshafts fitted, but as those are useless on my car they'll go back to Dick as spares for his 2 M5's. The partnumber for the M5 rear arms is unique for the e34 M5 and a few high powered e32, but to my astonishment the partnumber for the 540i's trailing arm is shared not only with all non-M e34's and small engined e32, but also with latemodel e24's, and e28!!!!! WTF?

To me that means you could convert e24 and e28 to adjustable rear arms, but thats something to play with later in life, if I ever get an e28 M5.
The idea is to convert the 540i to adjustable rear arms, and as my current rear suspension is FUBAR, replace all the rubbers and wear&tear bits. Oh and reassemble the whole job with my 3,23 LSD, instead of the current open 2,93. Can't wait to feel the difference!
Will update.
