New M5 owner - at last!

Just thought I'd say hi to everyone on the forum.

After a very long wait (like a mortgage, then kids, then a bigger mortgage, the usual stuff!) I have finally managed to get my hands on an E34 M5... hopefully it will prove to be worth the wait and cost (and costs to come!)

I have to say I've always been an E34 fan (I've owned and maintained three other E34's over the last 7 years / 180000 miles) but the M5 is in a completely different league!

I'm sure the current honeymoon will wear off when the first big bill hits home, but that is not going to be too much of a shock I hope as I've kept my mind on the possibilities of big bills (EDC for example)

Anyway, time to say farewell to my previous favourite toy (1995 525i Sport in Avus Blue / Silver Grey leather / Ebony Wood) and hopefully I might enjoy it's replacement even more (1995 E34 3.8 M5 LE, Orinocco)...

All we need now is decent weather and I might just have to get the camera out...!

Likewise I saw this car in the flesh at our last meet.

Nice clean car, welcome.

I think you may enjoy the performance gains over your 525!?
