Atlanta m5 owners

I have a question to ask.I know you are busy people , but could I come take a look at one of your cars.Im only 17, but im looking to buy one.I know its not a toy, and a serious machine and will treat it like one.I just need to ride in one and look it over.

Your best bet may be to hit a Atlanta area Meet and grab a ride. I've got a buddy in Atlanta with a Daytona Violet 3.8 car that may be willing.

My Schedule blows lately but I may have some time in Feb. Epstein does have the 3.8 but at 17 I doubt that is an option...

What you need to understand is that you should have at LEAST $2,000 per year in free cash budgeted for maintenance issues or you can forget about it. This car is almost as expensive to run as my Porsche 993 was. Not trying to burst your bubble but this is far from an ideal early car.

Was speaking to Epstein last night (The fellow w/ the Daytona Violet 3.8) and he mentioned that he'd be willing to give you a ride/etc.

Check your PMs GVR4...

He also added:

I don’t spend 2000.00 a year on my car. I think I spend about 400.00 maybe. I know I don’t drive it that much but if the car is already in excellent condition and it is maintained that way, then it won’t cost that much to run.

It is good to see those even younger than me with the passion and understanding of what a machine the mighty M5 truely is.

Personally I would suggest buying a 535i and modding it to hold off your fetish for a couple years, otherwise you won't be able to stop driving it (and scaring your friends)!

It must be said that Epstein does ALL of his own work and has basically rebuilt his whole car himself...for the less mechanically-inclined of us, I will stick to the $2K average. I'm about to eat $3,000 in suspension alone due to my crapped out SLS!!!

Once I get the car back I'll take you for a ride--it will also most likely be for sale for the right number if you are interested...
