need help wiring M-tech mirrors!
hi there, new to the forum. need help with m-tech mirror wiring. my original mirrors only have 4 wires: black, brown, blue, and white. the m-tech mirrors (off a wrecked '95 540i sport) have nine wires: black, brown, white, green, yellow, orange, pink, red, and grey. i'm guessing the extra wires are for memory control, which i do not have. can anybody point me in the right direction to which wires to splice? thanx in advance!

sorry, don't know the answer, but i have a few q's if you don't mind.

what are your new mirrors like, i am not familiar with the mtec mirrors, are they similar to e36 m3 mirrors ?

how much did they cost ?

apart from the wiring do they fit straight onto the normal baseplate ?

yea, the m-tech mirrors look exactly like the 95-99 m3 mirrors. from what i heard, the mirrors (housing, glass) are exactly the same, it's just the base that is different.

i paid $250 for them. they're off a wrecked '95 540i sport.

the mirrors are a perfect fit since they're made for the e34.
