Vancouver-Whistler M5 Jaunt - Saturday November 3

Hello Vancouver owners, a convoy of M5's is meeting in West Van next Saturday morning for a day of driving.

The plan is to push to Squamish, then - weather permitting - all the way to Whistler. We'll begin the day at 11am at the White Spot restaurant at Park Royal in West Van.

The invitation is extended to all 28's, 34's and 39's.

Owners from WA and abroad are certainly welcome to make the trek. The Sea-To-Sky highway is a glorious drive.

If you're interested in joining us, please PM me!

Thanks and regards,
Alpywhite

Hi

Sorry this is not really related to your M-5 run - sounds like an excellent time - good choice of road!, however I hope you might be able to help me out if you had a second.

I'm in the UK right now and while my M5 is on its way home on a ship to NZ I am going to come to Canada for 4 or 5 weeks in the mountains Feb-March.

I have a bit of a problem, being a bit of a car nut it will be fun to buy a old V8 yank tank (I've done this once already on my way to the UK in '99) , however the problem is insurance - do you by any chance know a good insurance broker who could either insure such a car (3rd party only) or alternatively insure me personally to drive any car?

An email address or name would be excellent !

cheers
Stu

I am sorry I missed the M5 drive to Whistler. Please let me know if you are planning another one this year. I live in Vancouver (Tsawwassen).

Regards
