After reading a flyer in one of the monthly BMW mags I eagerly awaited today for it said, "Visitors will be treated to a wide variety of BMW cars of all types. Collectors, Classics, competition prepared BMW's, modern BMW's including M series, Alpina, Harge, Schnitzer etc! Leading BMW specialists as well as official BMW dealers take trade stand space
What an utter load of sh!t! the approach to the hall looked promising with a modified 8 series but that was a false dawn! inside was the worst car club show I have ever witnessed of any description, sure there was the usually over-abundant 2002 along with 2 E30 M3's, 1 E36 M3 lookalike! a variety of breakers selling very poor second-hand parts, some of which were obviously stolen (E36 M3 mirrors with no base plates)!!!!!!!!!! No official dealers and no sign of what I'd call BMW specialists Birds, BMW-World, Hartge, MK-Motorsport!!!.....
The car park showed us a glimpse of what could have been if any BMW show organiser anywhere in the country show's the remotest sign of having some backbone! endless amounts of E36 M3's for which there is obviously and continually ignored market! some E39 M5's but sadly not a single E34 M5 or E46 M3!!! they were probably there last year and didn't make the mistake of turning up twice!!! I hope you read this and don't turn up yourself next year!!!!
