Recent meet called "8-fest" Held this past September. From the 8 fest website:

Wednesday_- October 1, 2003_-_Santa Rosa,_CA_- Steve Cohen, the_2003 Left Coast 8-Fest Event Coordinator,_announced today that the 2003 Left Coast 8-Fest was an unqualified success.____

Over 85 8 Series were present with 170 people in attedance._ "The groundswell of renewed support for the 8 Series was truly embodied in this event." remarked Mr. Cohen._ "With 18 US states, 2 Canadian provinces, and Germany represented at 8-Fest, it was awe-inspiring to see the commitment of attendees to come vast distances to celebrate the innovative 8 Series."



Satch Carlson, Editor-in-Chief of Roundal Magazine, during his Keynote Address on Saturday night surmised: "The rest of the world is just now catching up to the relevance of the 8 Series._ When it was introduced in 1989, the car was years ahead of its time."
