Is it an 850CSi or just an 850i ?

Strange ad:
http://www.auto-one.com/ax/chi/html/..._details1.html

Looks funny but the english text says it is a 380hp car.
HKD 228,000 = US$ 29,231 = Eur 29,839 -- not bad for a 31,000km car (19,000 miles)

Anyway, at least they accept VISA

Hard to tell which model it really is, by looking at just the one picture. It surely hasn't got the CSi front spoiler.

More indicators would be the round exhaust tips, the red needles on the instrument cluster and the AHK telltale light lighting up after turning on the ignition (there are only a handful of non-CSis with rear wheel steering).

Could one see the difference between an M70 and an S70 engine by just looking at it (changing the cover should be easy)?

Anyway, in first and second gear the CSi should rev well beyond 6000 rpm.

This is very interesting. I wasn't aware of BMW making the CSi for any markets without the normal CSi front, optional maybe as high speed driving isn't likely?. Anyone here from Hong Kong have a chance to give them a call or know if this is the case? It might just be an archieve photo also and not the actual car in question. You know "All 8s look they same"....
