For those of you that have driven an e28 M5 and an e24 M6, do they perform about the same?

I know the M6 is heavier at 3570 pounds, but does it still have the stellar grip and ease of oversteer that the M5 does? My friend has an E28 M5 and it is alot of fun to ride around in, and the handling is superb. The tail can go out very easily with that much power in his car (about 270-300).

Does the M6 perform about the same in straight line and in the twisties?

All else being equal, the E28 M5 is a much more capable handling car than the E24 M6. Have owned both in the past and am speaking from experience with both cars at the track.
