Do you know how small Hong Kong is?
Public transport is efficient and most people do not own cars.
Its considered to be a luxury to own to a car in HK because it costs a lot to run them, eg: high fuel cost

But most Hong Kongers change their cars every 3 years and they never keep them as long as people in NA or Europe.

Yes, just like in Singapore where registration fee is enormously high and fuel is expensive. Speaking of fuel I guess the Europeans charged similar price right? USA has the cheapest price of them all.

What surprises me is that a lot of people bought S500 and S600 in HK where I think S320 or even S280 would serve them just fine considering the roads and traffic (or maybe it's just labeled S500?). Even an E-Class is big enough to drive there. If I have to own a car in HK I would buy small city car like A-Class.
