Sold My E28 M5 Today!

Well, at my wife's request I decided to "thin the herd" a little and sell my E28 M5. I sold it via eBay and the new owner drove it away today.

I have mixed feelings about selling the car because it was so much fun to drive. With the Dinan suspension (Stage III front, SLS retained), it sat a lot lower than the stock M5 and was a blast on the road. It was almost more fun than my E39 M5, which although it has twice as much power doesn't "feel" the road like my E28.

Well, maybe someday I'll buy another E28 M5. They're great cars!

Mike

If you don't mind disclosing - How many miles were on the car and how much did you get for it?

Under $9,000 ...

WOW - was there much activity on the car or did the first one buy it ..
Was that the buy-it-now price?

I did not see how many miles where on it ..

I have no intention of selling mine but if that is what the market is - I keeping it for financial reasons now!

I still look back at mine when I leave her on the street and REALLY like the old time BMW styling - it was like nothing else then and certainly like nothing since ..

Till the day the wheels fall off

Ridgeback:
I also need to "thin the herd" and the E28 is I'm afraid, just gathering dust.

Under $9k is disturbing though. How many miles were on it?

Regards.
