Leather Handbook Case

Guys, has anyone still got the leather case for the handbook which originally came with the E28 M5? If so could you please post a pic or better still give me the part number so I can try and find one. This is the only thing I'm short of to make my M5 100% original.

Thanks in advance,

Johnny

Re: Leather Handbook Case

Johnny,

Sorry - no luck here, I'm afraid. Minor point - I think the leather handbook cover may only have been supplied where leather trim or possibly the full buffalo hide option was specified (mine's cloth and the handbook cover is the bog-standard white plastic item - which I am sure is original, as it still has all the 1st owner details in it). Whilst searching for a car to buy, I looked at one car with the full buffalo hide option, this definitely had the leather book cover. Maybe there's someone out there who knows for definite!

Regards
