Sun roof seal and antenna

I have the upgraded Saab sunroof (glass) on my e28 M5 but I need a new seal. Do I get the one that came with the car originally or go through Saab and get one?

If I need to go through Saab, anyone know which model Saab the sunroof came out of?

Also, my power antenna is broken. I checked ebay and I guess I have a few options. I don't want to pay for a new OEM power antenna but at the same time I don't want a cheap POS. Is this a decent antenna?

Power ANTENNA - 1988 BMW M5 E28:eBay Motors (item 380164451927 end time Nov-01-09 14:20:01 PST)

Thanks,
Justin

I recently bought a black one of these for my M5 - its the same one as BMW will sell you for a lot more!

Basically you want a Hirschmann 2040 in either chrome or black.

Here is a link for one on your side of the pond!

Add also says e28 524tds and e28 525e and i dont see why they'd have a different arial to an M5. Im not sure if US cars are that diff to GB cars but i bought a 2040 and its great.

Hope that helps

Matt

Not sure yet, might work. Either way he is only 30 minutes from me so I'm going to head up there and let him look at it. He said he can usually repair the OEM units for cheap.
