Dogleg gearbox leaking

My dodleg box is leaking thru the vent. My previous dogleg box did this too. Strange thing is that it didn't leak when I still had an M30 in front of it!

Why do they leak thru the vent with my S38 in front of it? Both boxes where not overfilled and I used the oil that BMW recommends.

It may actually be your main crank seal that is leaking ......

I checked the rear seal but it's dry. The oil is to bright to be engine oil. I pulled my tranny last weekend and you can see it's from the vent. I'm thinking of bringing the vent up to the engine bay with an hose.
