Intake port sizes!!

Hi, My name is Arjun and i live in India. this is my first post on m5board although i have been a spectator for over a year now.My brother and i are currently working on my e28 518 which is getting the full makeover into an m5 with an s38b36 from am 91e34 m5.To do this we had to buy a full car in the middle east and strip it for parts. My brother is also doing a conversion on his E30 316,swapping the M10 with an M20 3.2.Will post pics and full details once the assembly gets underway.

In the meantime it would be great if anyone could tell me the intake port sizes of the m88,s38b36 and s38b38 and also the valve sizes.Im planning to run the s38b36 on the e28 with ITB's and a fritz exhaust which i have already bought. The pistons are 12.5:1 CR WISECO Forged items.Brakes, gearbox and diff are from the e34 m5.

Its taken the best part of one year just to get all the bits together.hopefully we can get it on the road soon. Will keep all posted.

Finally i just like to say that its great ot be a part of this forum i look forward to hearing your comments.Cheers!
