New front valance needed... long story

Hello all,

Disaster struck this morning when my front right tyre decided to blow out right in the middle of an almost 90 degree left hand corner on a quiet lane down in Sussex...

Despite my best efforts, the car just wanted to go straight on and it was impossible to avoid running into the steep bank on the outside of the bend. There is damage to the front valance and very slight damage to front right wing but that is it thank god..

As you can imagine I am gutted to say the very least, on the other hand I was also very very lucky that the blowout occurred at maybe 20mph (bizarre I know) on a deserted lane and not when I was on a faster or more dangerous bit of road.

I've never had a blowout or even done any damage to any of my cars over many years (touch wood) so this has come as a bit of a shock.

Does anyone know if/where I can find a correct replacement valance, possibly front bumper and front right wing?

Car is already with the bodyshop I use, I'll find out exactly what is necessary to get her back in shape Monday.

ANy help locating parts or donor cars would be much much appreciated

Thanks

Tim

wing, valance are common e28 parts (valance of m5 has the holes for the AC, but could be opened on a closed one, even the holes for the oil cooler are common to 535 only, but, a cut and they are there.)
The front spoiler under is M5 specific and NLA.

Hello everyone

I've removed everything off the front of the car (bumper, valance/chin spoiler, grill and both both front wings, everything is pretty tidy underneath.

Spent a while under the car this weekend having a good old look around, she is very tidy all things/age considered - nice to see she must have had plenty of attention over the years.

Many thanks to David who's given me some great help finding replacement parts, she'll be back on the road soon...

Will have some pics shortly...

I bought the M5 spoiler a month ago and it certainly isn't NLA (yes the euro one), but ended up being $$$$. One of the covers is NLA.
