SLS with Bilstein HD
I just had my front shocks replaced with Bilstein Hd's and my rear shocks with stock SLS. Also had the switch box lever replaced along with both accumulators and the SLS appears to be functioning correctly. Why is my M5 sitting a little higher in the front when parked? When maneuvering over bumps in a turn the rear end skips (like fishtailing) but only when I'm making a left turn? My concern is that this is just a bad suspension combination, or worse a blown out shock tower.

Hi and welcome to the forum .

It seems likely that your old front springs were worn to the point of sitting lower than the new ones that you have now fitted , even if they were both actually made to the same specifications originally .

Your new front springs will probably settle in time .

Have you checked the condition of your rear subframe / axle beam bushes ? They can cause the fishtailing if deteriorated .
