That are exactly my thoughts.

You don't happen to have a barn or something? To 99,9999% of the others this is just an old BMW that will be disposed of when authoroties get notice.

Good eye on this one. Thanks for pointing it out and Raymond posted it on our E12 M535i list so hopefully someone will speak up. It would be an awful thing if the car was scooped up by authorities for parking on the street for months and went to a scrapyard.

Regarding the discussion about the E12 M535i on this message board (m5board.com), Gustav and I emailed quite a bit maybe a year ago and there was some serious discussion about moving our E12 M535i list from yahoogroups to here. Gustav seemed enthusiastic about doing it but at the time his E39 M5 had been vandalized I think and he was very busy. Then we lost contact.

I'm still interested in moving the discussion here because I think the E12 M535i's place in Motorsport history makes it deserving of a subforum here.

Picture of my own car below:

Funny, I agree...The E12 M535 and the uber M1 belongs here.

Yes...I have a barn (garagebox) but then I am stealing (i heard is very easy to do so). And because of my message here...I can be traced very easely.

But perhaps something will happen the next days. That somebody is recognize this car. And will come forewards.

wow, is the car completely stock? Would it be possible to trace the owner through the VIN and license plate? RHD too?

I have received more info about this car from the registrar of the E12 M535i registry, but won't reveil the details in public.

I would be happy to know that it will be brought in from the cold and given some chicken soup.

Okay; A little bird told me that the car is not registred in England anymore. That means that its not legal to park it on public roads. The current owner is not known.

Ofcours I couldn't kidnap the car because, even in the Netherlands, thats not legal too .

The only thing I could do is call the police. So I wrote an email to our Neigberhood Watchman (Buurt regiseur...?). He is from the police.

W'll see what is going to happen next.

2 B continued........

Arjé

I would have kept the po-lice out of this for as long as possible.

Half my family are with the force and they never agree with me when the words "cars" and "enjoying" are mentioned in one sentence. Hence why their kids think I am cool and they are not, sitting in their volvo's.
